The Knights of Rizal – Blumentritt Chapter, in cooperation with and through the gracious support of the municipal government of Bayan ng Montalban, the Montalban LYDO – Local Youth Development Office, the Montalban Municipal Education Development Office (MEDO), the Montalban Municipal Public Information Office (MPIO) and the Constantino Foundation, is proud to announce 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐲: 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 with the theme “Rizal Law @70: Civics and Nation-Building” this Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the University of Rizal System (URS)-Rodriguez (Montalban) Campus.
This forum, catering to the URS-Rodriguez (Montalban) studentry, will primarily be conducted to bolster knowledge of important chapters of Rizal’s novels and to engage the pupils in conceptualizing our national hero’s relevance in our modern age. This will also be held in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the passing of Republic Act No. 1425 the “Rizal Law”.
The activity aims to respond to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education), 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and 17 (Partnerships for Goals).
