“Letizia: A Life in Letters is an inspiring and moving exhibit at the Linangan Gallery of the Constantino Foundation. Leticia Roxas Constantino’s letters and journals were given life in a multi sensoral showcase of music, personal belongings, video, photos with letters as if floating in the air. A must see – especially for women. She was an equal partner of historian Renato Constantino and co-wrote the history book, The Philippines: A Past Revisited which opened the eyes of Filipinos to a different perspective of our story. Yung totoo and not from the eyes of our colonizers. What a fascinating woman, her baby books for her children were journals as if they were written in their own voice! She wrote down the recipes when she entertained, along with the guest list and the cost of the food. A stuffed toy her granddaughter @constantkc gave her with a bouquet of flowers, she kept for her future great-grandchild! She played the piano, had ballroom dancing in her home and was a thought leader. May kalandian at kalaliman! A woman who continues to influence and inspire even in this day and age of Tik Tok and Instagram. Thank you @constantkc and Tita Dudi for the tour and the lunch and the kuwento!” – Journalist Ces Drilon
